IF LOOKS COULD KILL

I love the ability to play around with colors and fashion. Fashion is the best way to cheer you up on a day that isn't your best. It's called fake it until you make it. On days when I am tired or exhausted, I take my fashion confidence with me. I love earth tones that emphasize my bronze complexion. I like to keep my make-up natural as well. I am known for a light shadow with a pop of lip. Apart from the make-up, there are the accessories that compliment your look. I am the epitome of a girly girl.

The best accessory that I have is my smile. That smile seems to save me on so many days. No matter the type of day, the moment that a smile comes across your face, it creates a vibe that anyone can relate to. This week in particular has been very trying for my mood. It could be partly because mother nature came to visit but all in all, I have pushed through with a smile.

This past weekend, I had an opportunity to visit an restaurant in Washington DC. The name of the location was " Firefly." I tried their Avocado Toast and Smoked Salmon Benedict accompanied by some hot tea. The environment was quaint and lovely in the decor options. A pretty cool addition was the giant tree trunk inside and the swing existing outside their front doors. The experience of the brunch was excellent in service. My outfit of the day fit perfectly with how the restaurant made me feel. Overall the point of the matter is to use your fashion to inspire your day. When I picked out this outfit, I didn't know that it would turn into a photoshoot. I do want to give my cousin Karimah credit for such excellent photos and the Iphone XS picture quality.
